Behavior Technician (Part time)

Job Description:

 

A behavior technician serves as the primary provider for children receiving Applied Behavior Analysis therapy and their parents.

 

Qualifications:

 

In order to excel in this position, a behavior technicians must:

  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Be detail oriented, especially when it comes to data collection and writing notes

  • Demonstrate effective organization skills

  • Have a history of taking the appropriate initiative with their work

  • Have a High School Diploma (college degree preferred)

  • Have, or be able to obtain and maintain, a Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) and/or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential

    • Complete a 40 hour training course

    • Complete a competency assessment

    • Pass a background check

    • Complete a RBT exam

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle

  • Must be able to work flexible day hours and evenings (3pm-6pm)

 

Compensation:

 

Compensation is hourly and is negotiable based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.

 

Compensation will also include:

  • Paid Time Off

  • Mileage Reimbursement

  • Performance Based Pay

  • Potential Full Time Position
